With effect from 27th December 2020, an additional measure will be implemented by the resort team to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our guests and hosts during this time. All guests arriving from another tourist facility within the Maldives, will be required to take a Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) test 48 hours prior to arriving at our resort. The negative test results should be sent to our reservations team for verification before any inter-resort movement of guests will be permitted.
Your health and safety is our highest priority at Gili Lankanfushi, Maldives. These measures aim to safeguard the wellbeing of hosts, guests and partners by reducing the risk of COVID-19 exposure at the resort.
The Gili Cares Plan is designed in full compliance with the guidelines provided by the Ministry of Tourism ‘Guideline for Restarting Tourism in the Maldives’, the Ministry of Health ‘Public Health Interventions to prevent COVID-19 Transmission in the Tourism Sector’ and Hotel Properties Limited (HPL) Hotels & Resorts ‘Care, Clean and Compliance policy’.

Suspended Self-Service Buffet Experience
At live cooking stations, guests will be served by chefs. Food orders will also be taken by servers and brought to the table upon request.
