All scuba diving programs are conducted by PADI professionals adhering to the latest safety standards.

The first experience to try diving in a controlled, safe and fun environment which takes approximately 3hrs to complete. This does not result in an official PADI certification. Starting with a safety briefing and learning the equipment, we go to the lagoon for the first underwater experience which includes some basic skills necessary for diving. Then we take the boat to the Turtle Reef 5 mins from the resort for a boat dive.
The first PADI Certification for those people who don’t have time for the full Open Water Course. The certification takes approximately 2.5 days to complete. It results in a PADI Cert which can be upgraded to Open Water at any PADI diving center. Maximum depth is 12m/40 feet and the diver must always be diving with a PADI Professional. This is a great option for many guests who come on vacation. There are 3 theory sections, 3 quizzes, and practical diving sessions. During the diving sessions, divers will learn the basics of operation the equipment and work on breathing/buoyancy skills. There are 2 dives from the boat in addition to training sessions in the lagoon.
The full Open Water Certification to become a competent independent diver. This takes approximatively 4 days to complete. Maximum depth is 18m/60 feet. This is a direct follow on from the Scuba Diver course and involves extra theory, quizzes and a final exam, as well as extra lagoon training sessions. Divers will make a minimum of 3 dives from the boat.
Certified divers are welcome to join our daily diving boat scheduled at 8am, 10am and 2pm. Nitrox 32% Enriched air is available for Nitrox-certified divers. All divers must show proof of certification before engaging in any diving activity. The Maldives allows Open Water divers to dive to a maximum of 20m, and Advanced Open Water divers to 30m. There is a no-fly period of 24hrs after the last dive.
