Gili Lankanfushi’s Marine Biology and Sustainability team hosted a week of Ocean-related activities, workshops and presentations for guests and hosts in celebration of World Ocean’s Week!

Here at Gili Lankanfushi we are constantly in the process of maintaining our Coral Lines Project in the lagoon.

In the final week of April, we experienced an unusual and little-known phenomenon while snorkeling on our house reef – a salp bloom.

The coral nursery at Gili Lankanfushi has become a haven for all kinds of juvenile marine creatures over the years.
