Although we did not have any guest divers last Sunday, we still went out to cleanup a small piece of the ocean. This time we aimed for our own lagoon; debris comes here as flotsam. We found just a few kg of rubbish, mainly drink cans, plastic packaging & other plastic items. These are quite common reef cleaning findings here in Maldives. Over 70% of the waste we found was plastic, and that just highlights the culprit of modern they life. Avoid them whenever you can !
