For your attention, just a short update on Peggy – she is doing well, and Liraz, the Marine Biologist at Four Seasons, Kuda Huraa is taking good care of her. She is eating well, but the progress in terms of buoyancy is slow, she is still floaty.
Currently Liraz is training Peggy to dive, and is trying to arrange for her to have an X-ray. The way that Liraz is training Peggy to eat is by putting some food in tongs and submerging it underwater; in this way Peggy has to dive down to get it.
And I have to say, results are obvious – compare the two pictures below; now (picture on the right) her shell is much more submerged than it was before (picture on the left).
