For several years, Gili Lankanfushi has recognised October as Breast Cancer Awareness Month and teamed up with a non-profit organisation to gather donations for the cause. This year is the same, as guests can participate in enjoyable activities while supporting the cause in various ways. This year’s partnership is with the Cancer Society of Maldives (CSM).
Force of Life Letters
> We invite one to write notes of encouragement, strength and positivity for Breast cancer patients.
> Letters will be distributed locally and internationally.
Donation at Check-out
> For October, we are including CSM as one of our beneficiaries for the optional donation during guest checkout.
> Donors will also tie their pink ribbon tag on the “Giving Tree.”
Lets Pink Up the Pace – 3K Fun Run/Walk
> Amount donated to purchase the bib goes to CSM
> Winners can claim gift vouchers at different resort areas, such as Spa, Dining and Excursions.

> Jump from the Overwater Bar deck in the lagoon, making a splash – winners will be chosen based on creativity/originality of costume, execution and the splash/audience impact.
