Dine with toes in the sand at Kashiveli, which translates as “coral sands” in the local Dhivehi language. Steeped in a sense of place, Kashiveli spotlights fresh, nutritious ingredients—sourced from our organic garden and local waters—in a breezy outdoor environment. At night, the restaurant transforms into a buzzy night market, with globe-trotting flavours reimagined through locally grown produce. Guests will be transported to Bangkok, Marrakech, New Delhi and other foodie capitals — all from Gili’s idyllic island setting.

Breakfasts are a colourful array of fresh tropical fruits, juices, and smoothies, as well as traditional Maldivian and international favourites.

Dinner

7:30 PM – 10:30 PM

Taste your way through an Asian street market, the spice souk stalls of Morocco, the churrascaria BBQ restaurants of Brazil, and a passage through India tandoor during the nightly market experiences at Kashiveli.

Gili Culinary Journey

A rotating menu of signature dishes will take guests on a gastronomic tour of nine global culinary hotspots. Expect a Lankanfushi take to the Maldives, tender Indonesian Rendang curry, mouthwatering Tamil lamb, and colorful Mediterranean salads.
