Wander through our lively Mediterranean-inspired Spice Souk with sweet S’mores moments, and unwind with “Haveera Sai”, a traditional afternoon tea featuring a selection of Maldivian short eats and local delicacies.


By The Sea Chef’s Special – Tako

By The Sea presents a seasonal spotlight on tako – the Japanese translation for “octopus”. Prized in Japanese cuisine for its versatility, texture, and umami depth, this cherished ingredient reflects the adaptability and culinary craftsmanship of our Chefs.

This May, discover two unique creations at By The Sea: the delicate Tako Fune, gently simmered in light dashi and broth; and the bold Tako Miso Yaki, grilled in rich miso glaze.


Cocktail of the Month – Smoked Boulevardier

A bold interpretation of a 1920s classic, Gili’s Smoked Boulevardier blends Bourbon, Campari, and sweet Vermouth with Smoke Chips and Aromatic Bitters for added depth and a full sensory experience.
